Chawezi Ngoma

Managing Partner

Chawezi holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (with Distinction) from the University of Lusaka (2016) and a Master of Laws degree in International Trade and Investment Law (2021). He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

He began his career at Simeza, Sangwa & Associates, where he was recommended by the Dean of the University of Lusaka's School of Law. He progressed from intern to associate, engaging in high-level litigation, arbitration, and a range of corporate and commercial transactions. He subsequently practised at Corpus Legal Practitioners, focusing on employment disputes, and at Kaunda Kaunda & Mwila Legal Practitioners, where he gained extensive experience in electoral and election law at all levels.

With over a decade of industry experience, Chawezi brings a broad and tested skill set to his role as Managing Partner, overseeing the firm's strategic direction and client relationships.

Winston K. Kasongo

Consultant: Tax and Taxation

Winston is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (qualified 1988, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh) and a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants. He obtained a Master of Business Administration in Finance in 2005.

Before joining the firm, Winston served as a Partner at Mark Daniels Chartered Accountants, where he provided income tax advisory services to a wide range of clients between 2018 and 2022, including ZSIC General Insurance Limited, the Civil Aviation Authority, Synergy Agri Business Limited, Blumaq Zambia Limited, Southern Water and Sanitation Company Limited, and numerous other corporate entities.

Winston brings a wealth of specialist knowledge in tax structuring, compliance, and advisory to the firm, strengthening our capacity to deliver integrated legal and tax solutions.

Nathan C. Chibolela

Associate

Nathan holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Lusaka (2017) and a Legal Practitioners Qualifying Examination Certificate from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (2021).

He began his career at Hobday Kabwe & Company (2018), where he developed strong advocacy, legal writing, and research skills. He subsequently joined Nhari Advocates as a Learner Legal Practitioner (2020) and was promoted to Associate following his bar admission in 2021. During this period, he gained significant experience in debt collection, conveyancing, securitisation, and corporate financing.

Nathan brings over six years of industry experience to the firm, with a particular strength in transactional and property-related matters.

Kasuba Robina Chibale

Trainee Associate

Kasuba holds a Bachelor of Laws degree in Commercial Law from ZCAS (University of Zambia) (2022). She was awarded an Entrance Scholarship in recognition of her academic achievement and also holds certifications in the Basics of Public-Private Partnerships and Business Administration.

Prior to joining Ngoma Legal Practitioners, Kasuba trained at Simeza Sangwa & Associates, one of Zambia's leading commercial law firms, where she gained practical experience across a range of corporate and commercial matters.

Kasuba brings a strong commercial law foundation and a keen analytical mind to the firm as she develops her practice.

Tapiwanashe Matambanadzo

Intern

Tapiwanashe joins Ngoma Legal Practitioners as an Intern, bringing curiosity, analytical rigour, and a genuine commitment to the practice of law. Originally from Zimbabwe, she contributes a regional perspective that complements the firm's cross-border work and broadens its engagement with Southern African legal developments.

During her internship, Tapiwanashe assists the team with legal research, document review, and the preparation of client deliverables across multiple practice areas. She has co-authored the firm's analysis of Zambia's Minerals Regulation Commission Act, contributing to the firm's growing thought leadership in the energy and mining sector.
